一間自己的屋子–to my dearest friends
大概半个月前半，某个月圆之夜，在香港难得一见的闲庭院的秋风里，跟燕子煲粥。突然说到我现在住客厅，电话线的另一端突然停顿了一下，然后燕子缓缓地开了口。内容是我之前就预料到的。
隔天，依旧的秋光明媚的周末（那些曾经让我沉迷的春光明媚的周末们），在家具店沉迷了一下午的我，经过街市，看到了粉红的雏菊。自从搬来乡下，我没再买过她们，但那一刻，我二话不说地把她们带回家了。摆在飘窗台上，旁边是味道一瓶味道很清淡迷人的香氛，以及两个装着合家照的相框，他们一起躺在前年厦门书店买的橙色桌垫上，在秋日的阳光与微风中，静静地看着我静静的喜悦。那样的一副景象，我是很想将之装在镜头里面给燕子看的，但终于没有，总是千般风情拍不出。
其实，你知道，你们都知道，我从来不亏待自己。精神上不用说，物质上也是如此。纵然你们常常看到我似乎总是舍不得买东西，但我真的不亏待自己的。床单、地毯、衣柜、鲜花、苏绣、化妆品衣服、鞋子、音响，我渐渐地喜欢这样一个被美好物质包围的生活，所以，才在电话里那般雀跃欢欣地谈着买回来的内衣与杯子。但我知道这些物质对我的意义。它们为生命增色，但生活并不因他们失色。
找房子的时候，朋友听说我要住客厅，都担心地劝我不要委屈自己。不过一个朋友在发表她的担虑候，又加了一句：你总是会住得很好。事实证明，当她来了以后，也很喜欢。同屋开玩笑说：你不要在外面哀怨自己住客厅好吧，根本就是豪华版的。豪华倒谈不上，但这终归是自己的一方天地。我很阔气地把厨房、浴室整套房子都在心理上划给了自己了，连窗台外面的风儿、阳光与世界。更何况，还有一个非常难得的好室友。更何况，还有你们。夫复何求。
绕了一大圈，我竟然还能够回到这里。刚刚做家务时，听着《老男孩》，我为自己还可以丝毫不愁怅生活、不怀疑世界而心存感恩。所以，亲爱的朋友，不要为我担心。我深信那句话，过好自己的生活，是对朋友最大的帮助。
